Sharaqpur Food on Foot

Sharaqpur is a small town just outside Lahore. The town is named after the Sufi poet Mian Sher Muhammad Sharaqpuri and we visit the Sufi Shrine. There is narrow old town bazaar full of street food. We will try the Gulab Jaman of Sharaqpur which is famous all over Pakistan. Gulab Jamun is a classic Pakistani sweet made with milk solids, sugar, rose water & cardamom powder. It is enjoyed in most festivals and celebration meals.
