Tour Details

What will we see - Kachura is a small and beautiful village located about a 30-minute drive from our Skardu base. The area is famous for the artificial lake at Shangrilla Resort, but for a more natural and authentic experience, we take you to Upper Kachura Lake.

The journey begins with a scenic ride through narrow village streets. From the walking point, our team member Mustafa will guide you on a 30–45 minute walk through traditional village houses, green fields, and local pathways, ending at the stunning Upper Kachura Lake.

Tour Details

What will we see - This is an immersive walking tour of Skardu city, where we explore both the old and new bazaars to experience local life, history, and culture.

The tour starts at Radio Pakistan Chowk and continues on foot toward the Old Skardu Bazaar, which is home to 400-year-old houses and traditional markets reflecting the city’s rich heritage. From there, we move into the New Bazaar, a lively and busy area where locals shop for daily needs.

The walk then continues across an old bridge into a walking path that connects local neighbourhoods, finally leading us to the famous Alamdar Chowk.
